Wero is a new e-commerce payment solution which aims to become the go-to for individuals and merchants across Europe. Available either as an app or integrated into existing banking apps, it launched in Belgium, France and Germany in mid-2024. The Netherlands and Luxembourg are next, with plans to expand to more countries in the coming years.

Customers will pay for goods and services simply by scanning a QR code with their smartphone or tapping a link in an online store. Wero shares the customer’s stored contact and delivery details with the merchant, making the order and payment process quick, secure and frictionless.
