Important security reminder about Wero payments.
If you receive an email or text message claiming that someone has paid you via Wero it is not genuine. Do not click any links.
- If you are already a Wero user, you’ll get a notification directly through your Wero or banking app – Never via SMS or email.
- If are not yet a Wero user, no one can send you money until you’ve activated Wero in the Wero app or in your banking app.
- Wero will never request your personal information, banking information or credit card details via a webpage, SMS, phone call or email.
So remember: Stop. Think. Don’t click. If you are ever suspicious or unsure a message is genuine, report it to your bank immediately.
